The new chassis plate is milled from German high quality 7075 T6 aerospace aluminium. It has to be used with the Advanced Weight System battery holder (#512331) as it features a center brace for 18g sliding weights (#912323) which replaces the regular battery holder. The possibility to move the weights in the center of the chassis allows some quick fine tuning of the weight balance even in the pitlane. The stiffer design of the chassis plate improves the car’s overall handling and makes it more sensitive to setup changes.
